The New Woman - initial thoughts.
Emotionally charged family drama focussing on gender dysphobia which is heartbreaking and uplifting in equal measure. Charity Norman is the queen of emotional character building for me and this one has raised her game considerably even from the brilliant After the Fall. So a big tick from me. I have a few questions in with Charity and the Q/A will run with a full review as part of the blog tour in August. But at this stage I'll just say highly recommended.
